The hungry ant

in Yemba –>Nzií sī nzāŋà kīkyā

Resulam, resurrection of ancestral mother tongues, offers you this interactive book for children,

the first of its kind in the history of African languages, because there is a kindle version.

This first trial was produced in fè’éfě’è language, also called nùfī, one of the Bamileke languages spoken mainly in the West of Cameroon! Unpublished work whose particularity is not only the association, images-writing-sound, but also and especially its INTERACTIVE character.

Summary of the story:

a hungry ant wandered through the forest looking for food to feed its young. Unfortunately, no animal took pity on her. On the contrary, each in turn sent him to ask the other animal for food, and so on. The ant was lugged all over the forest, until the hare, wiser than the king, appeared and gave him a very practical solution, a solution that will also help us humans in everyday life.

Discover this trick in this book…

In addition to this beautiful moral lesson that you will discover, this book will also allow you to list most of the animals and food in the Bamileke – Yemba language. The Yemba language is one of the variants of the Bamileke language spoken in Western Cameroon, in the Menoua Department, in the city of Dschang and its surroundings.
